Hug A Veggie day

I was a bit mean to veggies in the local newspaper today. I don’t mean to pick on them but sometimes the ‘veggivists’ among them put out such a greener-than-thou message, attempting to drown people into submission in a giant guilt-laced pond of soya milk. It doesn’t work for me. But apart from the veggivism tactics I like vegetarians a lot. So I’m re-naming today Hug A Veggie day to atone for my rant. And I would like to dedicate this veggie recipe to the cause.

Succotash!

Easy-access, enchanting animation and a general overview of climate change chaos - all in under 12 minutes…

Wake Up, Freak Out - then Get a Grip from Leo Murray on Vimeo.

With help from the Royal College of Art, freelance animator Leo Murray (who works with Plane Stupid and has just finished work on the new Pete Postlethwaite film The Age Of Stupid) created this guide to the tipping point including some rather grim predictions of a future fortress Britain.

Back from Burkina

I want so much to write a fantastic post about beautiful Burkina and the amazing people I’ve met but I am drowning in deadlines, and desperately trying to do the trip justice in the newspaper.

Instead I’ll just share this cringeworthy video diary and promise to return for a proper Burkina blog post at a later date. (Look out for the extremely cool hat)…
